Marrz Capanang is a multidisciplinary and award-winning Ilonggo artist. He is the Co-founder and pioneer Chairperson of Himbon Contemporary Ilonggo artists group. He is a Creative Fellow for British Council’s Cultural Art Exchange Program in the United Kingdom.
Marrz has initiated various projects that connect art to the community. He is the imagineer behind Artivism Iloilo, Pag-unong (fundraising exhibit for Typhoon Haiyan survivors), and many more.
He believes in Animism and sets Intuition as the focal point of his life works.
Kristine Buenavista is an Ilongga creative visionary and social impact innovator. In 2008, she founded Siggit Sirkulo, a creative youth organization in her hometown. She is a Youth Leader Fellow of Freidrich Naumman Foundation’s (International Academy of Freedom) Strengthening the Youth Organizations Study-seminar Program in Germany.
She has launched original community activities over the years such as Trisikad Book Nook, Out of the Box Alternative Art School, and fundraised 300,000 pesos for the rebuilding indie initiative after Typhoon Haiyan called Batak Barotac.
She holds sensitivity, acoustic ecology, and deep personal reflection closest to her heart.
